Locations and times will follow in September.   Notice TO: All public school districts, public and private schools FROM: Kentucky Educational Publisher's Association Representatives SUBJECT: Publisher's support of textbooks and ancillary materials The members of the Kentucky Educational Publisher's Association have noted an increase in the purchase of USED textbooks by some schools. It is our obligation to clarify any misconceptions. • The publishers cannot accept responsibility for servicing the purchase of USED textbooks. • There is no guarantee against content errors and binding of books in 1st printings, generally purchased from USED book companies. • No complimentary materials (gratis items) will be provided for USED textbooks. • When requesting Teachers Editions, gratis items or complimentary and/or support materials, it is requested that a copy of your purchase order be supplied to the publisher representative. • USED textbooks cannot be returned to the publisher for credit. We are committed to providing schools and districts with the highest level of support -- both before and after the sale. Providing teacher materials and inservice to schools using our programs is an integral part of our commitment to you. We encourage you to continue to work with us as you plan and implement both new programs and re-orders of older programs.
